After being released from prison, Dave was hired by the upscale Dogwood restaurant. Grateful for the chance to demonstrate his abilities despite his criminal background, Dave excelled in his position and now runs The Dogwood's front-of-the-house at lunchtime and also works as a server and floor captain. Not having received much vocational training in prison, he appreciates his employers' willingness to give him opportunities that boosted not only his job skills but also his self-esteem. Dave looks forward to furthering his culinary education and knows that he can learn something new every day as long as he applies himself.
